Meet the Heart of Valley Light
Our dedicated team brings compassion, expertise, and a shared belief in the potential of every individual we serve. Together, we create an encouraging environment where adults with developmental challenges can learn, grow, and thrive.

CEO - Sage Newman
I am dedicated to advancing a more inclusive society by championing opportunities for individuals with developmental challenges. For over 45 years, I have committed my work to supporting our most vulnerable populations-those too often overlooked or tuned away. Through Valley Light Center, we transform barriers into pathways by creating meaningful opportunities such as community gardens, a thrift store, and workforce training initiatives. These programs empower individuals to build skills, confidence, and independence.
With the ongoing support of our communities and collaboration with local government, my mission is to ensure that every individual we serve is valued, included, and given the chance to thrive. Valley Light Center will continue to grow as a place where potential is recognized. Opportunities are created, and lives are changed.
